The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of mainframe-based systems that support healthcare operations, claims, eligibility, and member data. Key Responsibilities Perform manual testing of Mainframe healthcare applications Analyze healthcare business requirements and translate them into test cases and test scenarios Execute functional, system, regression, and UAT testing Validate batch processing, online transactions, and data feeds Perform data validation using DB2 and SQL Test claims processing, eligibility, enrollment, provider, and member data Validate HIPAA‑compliant data handling Identify, log, and track defects through resolution Work closely with developers, business analysts, and healthcare SMEs Prepare test execution reports and defect metrics Required Skills 5+ years of Mainframe QA / Testing experience Strong hands‑on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2 Experience in Healthcare domain (Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, Member systems) Strong SQL skills for data validation Experience with batch and online testing Familiarity with HIPAA regulations Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments Tools: ALM / Quality Center / JIRA.
