Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36- or 48-Hour Weekly Options Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a dedicated CVICU setting with targeted patient ratios of 1:2 across a 36-bed unit
• Manage and monitor patients on telemetry, drips, and ventilators, including those with A-Lines, sheaths, and dialysis
• Perform and interpret EKG/dysrhythmia strips and draw ABGs
• Care for pre/post cardiac cath/intervention patients and post cardiac surgery patients, including those arriving directly from the OR
• Monitor Pulmonary Artery Lines/Swan Ganz and thermodilution PA catheters; operate Impella devices
• Float within specialty clusters or to nearby facilities as directed, accepting medically appropriate assignments based on skill set and census needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in any U.S. state or valid compact license (Ohio license not required at time of signing)
• Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience required
• Experience with Impella, post cardiac surgery care, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, PA Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and thermodilution PA catheter monitoring
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must successfully pass an online EKG/telemetry competency assessment prior to assignment start
• Must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
