We’re hiring an experienced **Labor & Delivery RN** for a high-acuity maternity unit!


**Requirements:**
• Active **Illinois RN License**
• Minimum **3 years of L&D experience**
• **High-risk Labor & Delivery experience at a Level I Trauma Center required**
• Current **BLS, ACLS & NRP**
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Education verification required
• Strong clinical judgment and patient safety skills


**Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM**
• **36 guaranteed hours/week**
• Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday rotation required
• **EPIC EMR**
• W-2 employment only — **No 1099**
• On-call: $3/hr pager


**Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive care to high-risk labor and delivery patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Assist with deliveries and manage potential complications
• Educate patients and families throughout the birthing process
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient and newborn safety
