Mid-Tier Developer

Shift 1st Shift Description Koch Foods is looking for a self-motivated, full stack programmer. The successful candidate will code business applications in multiple ways. Some projects will be team projects with each team member assigned a specific tier. Other projects may require the individual to code all application tiers. The applicant must be open to using/learning augmented code with Claude. Not full vibing. This an ONSITE (not remote) office position. The office is laid back, with a polo shirt and jeans dress code. The developer creates their own Jira tasks, and works the tasks during the sprint with minimal oversight. The developer works with the team to bring the project to completion while updating the manager. You can be successful here if you are a team player who requires minimal supervision. We are looking for a long-term person who has some experience and wants to grow their career in software development. Toolset: Visual Studio 2019, 2022, 2026 SQL Server Management Studio, PG Admin Jira GIT / Git Kraken Docker Jenkins Critical Thinking / Common Sense Understanding not mastery of: C#.Net - .Net Core React T-SQL Entity Framework OOP Async - Multi threading Inversion of Control / Dependency Injection API Swagger Unit Testing CSS - Bootstrap Nice to have: Claude Postman / Swagger / Curl etc. Mongo - minor MySQL -- minor Power BI (On Prem -- version) IIS -- management and web deploy Requirements Desire to learn and gain a detailed understanding of the business. This is critical to success in this position. Willing and able to self-learn after hours. Ok with working for a Protein Producer that harvests chicken. Looking for a permanent home - we're family here. Can research and solve problems independent of others. Can create applications with minimal supervision in Visual Studio. Understands OOP principles and can translate business requirements into code. Has used code repositories and can read code. Can code and test. (including database code) Can perform CRUD operations. Effective written and verbal communication. Articulates ideas and programing concepts to others. Can write documentation and clearly communicate. Team player with desire to expand coding discipline and learn new technologies. This is an on-site position in our Peoria, AZ office (northwest side - boots on the ground 5 days a week). Physical Requirements
- Typical office environment utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
- Frequently sit for long periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
