• Pay Rate: $60.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Job Summary

This is a contract Registered Nurse position on the IMCU unit, caring for adult patients (18 years and older) across a 64-bed unit that includes 15 designated Neuro beds. The unit covers a broad range of complex diagnoses including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD), DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients on the IMCU unit
• Manage patients with common diagnoses including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD), DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
• Care for patients on chronic vents (unable to wean), with RT available to assist
• Float as required per unit policy

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU
• Documented travel nursing experience
• EMR experience required: Epic
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Floating required

Education Requirements

• Active NY RN License required (verified via NURSYS Report)
• ALL RN licenses must be active and verified
• Current AHA BLS
• Current ACLS
• Current NIHSS

• Unit: IMCU
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds / 15 designated Neuro beds
• Patient Demographics: 18 years Adults
• Specialty Equipment: Temporary pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo
• Vents: Yes chronic vents, unable to wean; RT available to assist
• Floating required within the facility

• Local candidates accepted (less than 75 miles)
• Up-to-date resume must include 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU and document travel experience
• Skills Checklist matching specialty required at time of submission
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required at time of submission
• NURSYS Report license verification with active NY License and ALL RN licenses required at time of submission
• RTO must be included at time of submission
