Cardiothoracic Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift with 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM), on-call requirements include 5-8 calls per month, including weekends.

The Cardiothoracic Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for circulating complex cardiac cases in a high-volume CVOR setting. This includes, but is not limited to, procedures such as CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, Valve replacements, as well as heart and lung transplants.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate during complex cardiac surgical procedures.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care according to protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR nursing.
• Must have a South Carolina or multi-state RN license valid at the start of the contract.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS, both must be AHA certified.
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency).
• First-timers accepted only with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
