Responsibilities Assist patients on their path to recovery and help them regain mobility and strength as directed by the physical therapist. Set up treatment areas and equipment, and assist with supervised exercises and activities. Monitor patient safety, maintain cleanliness of the treatment area, and document progress accurately as required. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear instructions and reassurance during rehabilitation. Collaborate with physical therapists and other team members to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications Strong communication skills; ability to interact with patients and their families, providing clear instructions and offering reassurance during rehabilitation. Problem-solving abilities; assess patient needs and adapt exercises or support techniques as necessary. Attention to detail; documenting patient progress accurately and maintaining safety standards in the treatment area. Empathy and patience, as many patients may feel frustrated or anxious during their recovery. Customer-centric mindset; prioritize the patient experience and foster a supportive atmosphere. Team player; collaborate closely with physical therapists and other staff to deliver high-quality care. PT students and experience preferred, but not required. Compensation and Schedule Pay: $15-$17/hr with potential for more commensurate to experience. This is a part-time position with morning and evening hours.
