Health Information Technician

Supporting the secure and timely collection of health records, the full-time Health Information Technician will retrieve medical records, ensure data accuracy, and provide exceptional service to providers and partners in a collaborative environment. Key responsibilities Retrieve medical records through various communication methods and document call outcomes accurately Support call center workflows by verifying information and managing escalations to ensure timely retrieval of records Perform data entry and tracking of medical record documentation in compliance with HIPAA and internal standards Required qualifications 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, medical records, or a call center environment Deep understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and medical record workflows Working knowledge of healthcare technology platforms and reporting tools (e.g., EMRs, call center software, Excel) Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
