Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree Valid North Carolina veterinary license DEA registration in good standing prior to employment Clinical proficiency in small animal medicine (primarily canine and feline), including physical exams, diagnostics, treatment planning for common conditions, surgery, and dentistry Comfort with medical record‑keeping Commitment to professional development, staying current with standards of care Work‑Life Balance Full‑time schedule: 4 days per week. Doctor hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, lunch 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM. Hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM. One Saturday every other month. No evening shifts. No holiday hours.
