Associate Veterinarian — Steele Creek Animal Hospital, Charlotte, NC

Since 1985, Steele Creek Animal Hospital has been a trusted name in Charlotte, NC — a Fear Free, feline-friendly, progressive small animal hospital built on exceptional medicine and an exceptionally loyal client base. Now we're looking for a full-time GP veterinarian with surgical experience to join our team, work days and rotating weekends, and help us continue raising the bar for veterinary care in our community.

What You'll Do:

• Build genuine rapport with clients, understand their needs, and deliver physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dental care that keep patient stress and discomfort to a minimum.
• Communicate exam findings and diagnoses clearly, and walk clients. through treatment plans, preventive care, nutrition, and vaccine protocols.
• Keep meticulous medical records and support colleagues with discharge, follow-up, and ongoing case management.
• Stay current through CE, seminars, and the latest developments in the field.
• Help mentor and develop our paraprofessional team.
• Represent SCAH with pride in the professional community and beyond.

What You Bring:

• DVM from an accredited university.
• Active, good-standing license to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina.
• Strong communication skills and sound clinical decision-making.
• A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and the veterinary code of ethics.
