Position Summary Associate Director, Technology Controls AdvisoryHelp strengthen technology controls across important enterprise systems and processes. In this role, you will lead control advisory efforts, work with business and technology leaders, and help improve how risks are identified and managed. This role is well suited for someone with experience in technology controls, risk management, and leading cross-functional work in a large organization.Recruiting for this role ends 10/17/26Work you'll doAs a Firm Enterprise Solutions Associate Director, Technology Controls Advisory on the Technology Controls Advisory team, you will be responsible for…Develop and lead a team of professionals in a variety of advisory work across enterprise systems, processes, and initiativesReview controls, identify gaps, and track remediation activities across key technology areasWork with business, technology, risk, audit, and compliance stakeholders to improve control frameworks and governance processesAdvise teams on control design, issue management, and practical remediation plansPrepare reports, insights, and recommendations for senior leaders to support decisions and continuous improvementA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to othersThe teamThe Technology Controls Advisory team helps strengthen risk management, compliance, and control effectiveness across enterprise technology environments. The team works with business, technology, and leadership stakeholders to assess controls, identify gaps, and support practical solutions. The environment is collaborative and focused on governance, oversight, and continuous improvement.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or Cybersecurity10+ years of experience in technology risk management, information technology controls, information technology audit, cybersecurity governance, or compliance5+ years of experience leading control assessments, remediation programs, governance initiatives, or cross-functional workstreams4+ years of experience directly managing teamsExperience with control frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, National Institute of Standards and Technology, or ISO 27001Experience assessing controls in areas such as access management, change management, systems development lifecycle, infrastructure operations, or third-party technology riskExperience preparing and presenting risk, controls, or remediation reporting to leadership stakeholdersCISSP certification required within one year of employmentMust be located within a commutable distance to the Hermitage officeMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or Computer ScienceCertification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified in Risk and Information Systems ControlExperience supporting enterprise governance, risk, and compliance programs in a large organizationExperience working with internal audit, external audit, regulatory, or compliance functionsExperience leading teams in a professional services, consulting, or corporate environmentDeloitte is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
