Staff Accountant

Job OpportunityThis privately held company is one of the toughest to get hired by but you will grow professionally and greatly enjoy the team! The company is highly successful and number one in their market space. You will affect the company's bottom line by conducting in-depth analysis of operations, selling and G&A expenses. Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Flex your analytical skills by designing, developing and troubleshooting new department reports using MS Excel & Excel based report writers. This position will set you apart from your peers because of the responsibility you are given at an early stage of your career. Your manager as well as the company is interested in developing you to be a better accountant.Minimum of 2 year work experience in the Finance & Accounting function with a sound knowledge of accrual accounting and general close processes. Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. Bachelor's Degree required. One to two years' experience in staff accountant role, Progression towards a Master's degree or CPA/CMA candidate is a plus
