JOB TITLE: Receiving Clerk

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing

LOCATION: Dublin, TX

PAY: $19/hr

SUMMARY: Our Receiving Clerk is responsible for keeping track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as inventory counts and checking inventory for damages or discrepancies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly account for the location of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Updates product inventory as products are received or distributed from the yard.
• Assists with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
• Assists in organizing and storing shipments in the warehouse.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Download or generate computer programs to direct the machine for proper operation and specification for the job as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in manufacturing/fabrication shop is preferred but not required.
• Advanced knowledge in excel.
• Prior experience in inventory systems is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
• Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel and reach throughout the workday.
• Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, inspect, count, and record materials and inventory.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, typically up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to operate or assist with material handling equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes (training provided as applicable).
• Exposure to welding fumes, bright light (arc flash), heat, sparks, and airborne particles.
• Frequent use of PPE including, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety-toe boots.
• Climate conditions vary in production areas from hot in the summer to cold in the winter.
