Make a difference in students’ lives by providing essential psychological services in a supportive elementary school environment. This part-time contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise as a School Psychologist across two engaging school settings—spending one day each week at a Parker-based elementary and another at a Franktown elementary. Your focus will be on completing comprehensive special education assessments, ensuring each student receives the individualized support they need to thrive.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and special education assessments
- Interpret results and collaborate with school teams on eligibility and intervention planning
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding student learning and behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult with staff
- Maintain clear documentation and meet required timelines
Qualities and experience we value:
- Current license or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting, especially at the elementary level
- Knowledge of assessment instruments and current special education procedures
