This part-time contract position offers you the opportunity to split your expertise across two vibrant elementary schools, dedicating one day per week at each location.

You’ll play a vital role in conducting assessments for special education, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, educators, and families to help meet each child’s unique needs. Your knowledge and care will be instrumental in fostering positive educational experiences and outcomes for young learners.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active School Psychologist certification or license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Previous experience with special education assessments preferred
• Strong communication and consultation skills
• Proficiency collaborating with educational professionals and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for special education eligibility
• Interpret data and provide recommendations for student support and intervention
• Collaborate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Serve as a resource for staff on strategies and best practices for student learning
• Work effectively across two school communities, sharing expertise to benefit diverse student populations
• Maintain documentation and comply with required timelines for assessments and reporting
