Mechanical Design Engineer-Active Secret Clearance

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer to support an Air Dominance production team responsible for producing key components of missile systems.
• The Mechanical Review Board Engineer will support production programs by identifying and resolving production issues, defects, and failures.
• This role will work closely with Mechanical, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions, often in time-sensitive situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, including reviewing non-conforming hardware for performance impacts.
• Identify root causes and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate efforts across Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Lead investigative efforts and communicate findings and status to interdisciplinary teams and leadership.
• Support weekly meetings and provide program status updates.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience with GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and tolerance analysis.
• 2+ years of experience with Creo design software.
• 4+ years of root cause and corrective action experience.
• 4+ years of experience reading engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications.
• Ability to lead investigations and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
