As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every individual.

What You Will Do

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
• Perform clinical tasks to support ambulatory patient care.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address patient needs and ensure efficient workflows.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description.
• Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
