Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A temporary-to-hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations in a busy inpatient pharmacy setting. This role is crucial in supporting the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) to ensure smooth and efficient pharmacy services.

Location: Camarillo, CA

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations in a 300-bed regional medical center
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy as their right-hand leader
• Manage employee scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels
• Proactively address operational issues and resolve challenges as they arise
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy IT systems to support workflow and documentation
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy manager or operations leader within an inpatient setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and daily operations effectively
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar pharmacy information systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
