Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day pharmacy functions in a 300-bed regional inpatient medical center. This role reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy and serves as a key leader ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and excellent service delivery.

Location: Oxnard, CA
Setting: Inpatient, 300-bed regional medical center
Position Type: Temp-to-hire, with flexibility on start date

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the right hand to the Director of Pharmacy, supporting pharmacy leadership in operational management
• Oversee daily pharmacy activities including staff scheduling and workload management
• Address operational challenges and issues promptly to maintain seamless pharmacy workflow
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and other departments to ensure high-quality patient care
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information systems for efficient operations

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in pharmacy management, preferably in an inpatient hospital setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams
• Operational expertise in pharmacy workflows and staff scheduling
• Ability to handle issues proactively and efficiently
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy systems is a plus
