Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Travel: 5% ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Valdosta team! We are seeking a hardworking, safety-minded individual. Reporting to a Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager sets the direction and oversees all activities related to plant maintenance (strategy development through to implementation, execution, and evaluation) while driving alignment with corporate strategic direction and established systems and directives. Delivering on a broad range of responsibilities, the Maintenance Manager must balance management capabilities with willingness to get directly involved in operations (applying specialty/technical skills) as required. They will also support the Plant Manager in communications with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and contractors. The Role: Identify and report efficiency opportunities (losses, reliability, cost, and spare parts inventory) and implement solutions to optimize equipment and maintenance costs while minimizing downtime. Make or actively support critical decisions that impact the local site (team performance, maintenance and capital planning, production outage planning, costing/budgeting). Monitor relevant regulations to ensure compliance in areas such as ethical practices, employee and process safety, contractor safety, and environment. Develop and implement key people initiatives (training, talent development, skills planning, organization design, hiring/on-boarding, succession management). Review key measures regularly to ensure production and quality expectations are met. The Person: College Degree is preferred but not required. 6–10 years of experience in Plant Operations and Maintenance Management, Budgeting/Cost Management, and Safety and Environmental Leadership. Strong analytical skills (process, equipment, technical data, incident/process investigation). Related experience in vendor/contractor negotiations is an asset. Occasional travel as required. Safety-oriented. Ability to work outdoors, stand for shift, lift & climb stairs. Must pass pre-hire physical & drug screen. The Value You Bring: Strong health and safety mindset.
