Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager

The Position As the Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager, you will lead and develop the existing customer service teamwhile helping establish and grow the company's inside sales capabilities. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, developing people, and driving operational excellence in a hands-on environment. Primary responsibilities include: Lead, coach, and develop the customer service team, including team leads and future hires. Establish processes, performance standards, and accountability measures to elevate the customer experience. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service quality, response times, and team performance. Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency. Design and implement an inside sales strategy focused on upselling, cross-selling, and proactive customer engagement. Qualifications and Candidate Background The ideal candidate will have: Experience managing a customer service team within a B2B distribution, industrial, or technical products environment. Direct exposure to inside sales, either through managing an inside sales team or prior experience as an inside sales representative. A proven track record of improving or building customer service operations, including implementing KPIs, redesigning workflows, and driving measurable performance improvements. Experience within industrial distribution, automation, electrical, HVAC, MRO, or related industries is strongly preferred. Location This position is on-site in Canton, GA.
