Training Manager

Position Overview Navico Group, a division of Brunswick, is one of the world’s largest recreational marine businesses. We are seeking a Training Manager to lead the training program in the Americas Region. The role will collaborate with teams in EMEA and APAC to develop and deliver training for technical support, warranty, field service, dealers, OEMs, and service center technicians. Essential Functions Establish the vision and strategy for Navico Group training. Identify customer training opportunities and develop or modify curriculum to meet needs. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a team of trainers, ensuring capacity and engagement. Prioritize training opportunities, ensuring high quality of service and training quality assurance. Embed skills and application knowledge throughout the training network. Develop and administer annual business plans and operating budgets. Partner with product experts to ensure content and resources meet professional standards. Create KPIs with service team leaders, measure performance, and adjust strategy. Review work of direct reports, mentor talent, manage performance evaluations, and address personnel issues. Coordinate best training practices across all Navico Group brands and regions. Establish and administer metrics to track program performance against divisional goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development, Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Communication, or related field. 5+ years of experience in service training, curriculum design, adult education, service operations, support, or sales roles. Ability to travel. Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods. Excellent leadership and motivational skills. Ability to translate technical product knowledge into learner‑friendly curricula. Strong time‑management, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills. Advanced database and computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Collaboration and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with video recording, multimedia training tools, and e‑learning authoring tools. Experience managing training budgets, resourcing plans, and vendor partnerships. Familiarity with train‑the‑trainer models. Experience working across global regions. Working Conditions Travel 0‑10% of the time. Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $73,600 – $106,825 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation will be based on qualifications and business context.
