AI Automation & Application Developer

Location: Monroe, NY
Salary: $80,000–$120,000
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Reports to: Partner/Owner

The Role

We are looking for a technical, AI-first builder who can turn business problems into working applications and automations.

You do not need years of traditional development experience. You do need hands-on experience using AI development tools , a strong technical mindset, and a genuine interest in learning how systems, software, and automation work.

The goal is simple: build faster, automate more, and reduce dependence on outside developers.

What You'll Own

• Build and improve internal applications using AI development tools.
• Identify manual workflows that can be automated or simplified.
• Take projects from idea through testing and implementation.
• Turn business needs into clear workflows and technical solutions.
• Work with outside developers when additional expertise is needed.
• Continuously explore better AI tools, integrations, and development methods.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Gemini, or similar.
• Strong passion for AI, automation, technology, and development.
• Technical mindset with the drive to keep learning and advancing.
• Experience completing projects using AI tools. Personal, school, or professional projects all count.
• Ability to understand a process and identify ways to improve or automate it.
• Self-directed and able to move projects forward without constant instruction.
• Able to work full-time on-site in Monroe, NY.

Traditional coding experience is helpful but not required. The right person is highly technical, curious, resourceful, and motivated to become stronger as AI development tools continue to advance.

• MCPs
• APIs and integrations
• Databases
• Authentication and security
• Git/version control
• n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms
• Traditional programming experience

Yiddish speaking is helpful but not required.

• Technical projects move forward without constant owner involvement.
• Development cycles become materially faster.
• More manual and Excel-based workflows become automated.
• Reliance on outside development decreases.
• Ideas consistently turn into completed, usable solutions.
