Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and drive delivery of large-scale technology programs. The ideal candidate will champion SAFe Agile practices, facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, manage cross-team dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of strategic business initiatives.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of technology delivery experience with 5+ years in Agile leadership roles (RTE, Agile Program Manager, Senior Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead).

• Strong expertise in SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean Portfolio Management, DevOps, and Value Stream Management .

• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation and technology delivery programs.

• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

• Experience with Jira, Jira Align, Azure DevOps, and TargetProcess .

• Financial Services, Insurance, or other regulated industry experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile Release Train (ART) execution and SAFe ceremonies.

• Facilitate PI Planning, dependency management, and ART alignment.

• Drive program delivery, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Partner with business, product, architecture, and technology leaders to ensure successful outcomes.

• Track delivery performance, Agile maturity, and portfolio execution metrics.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 119,000 to 143,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
