1. Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
2. Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the employee’s regular schedule.

All potential employees must successfully pass a pre-employmentdrug test and physical if applicableprior to beginning employment and are subject to ongoing random and other drug testing as required through our policy. Rolloff Driver Lower Burrell, PA Rolloff CDL Class A or B Drivers Shank Waste Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A or B driver to work a roll-off route. Each driver works a local route and is home every night.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle. Safely drive and operate a commercial motor vehicle (roll-off truck) according to the work rules while also abiding by all local, state, and federal laws. Drive to the disposal facility and dispose of the load. Maintain a courteous and cordial manner with all customers encountered on the route.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a Class A CDL. Must pass a DOT medical exam and drug screen. Must keep both CDL and DOT medical card in good standing. Subject to yearly MVRs. Must pass a road test with a manual transmission as part of the hiring process. Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots. Uniforms are provided after 120 days of successful employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, lift/carry required. The ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs. is required. This job is performed in and out of the truck.
