Schedule: M-F 10am-6pm, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation: $35-$45 per hour based on experience

About Our Family

We are a fun and dynamic family of four with two active school-age daughters, newly settled in Aliso Viejo after relocating from Canada. As entrepreneurs who have an ever changing work schedule with work travel often, life in our home is energetic while juggling a calendar full of academics, sports, and extracurriculars.

Our girls are spirited, fun, and thriving, each with her own distinct personality and interests: Our youngest loves everything outdoors and ocean-related, crafts, and games, and our oldest is into fashion, the latest teen trends, and creative projects. Both girls love to swim, and both really flourish in a warm, steady, and encouraging environment.

Having recently moved, we’re still building our local roots and support system. Back home, we experienced how much joy and ease a truly well-run household brings to daily life, and we are excited to recreate that same trusted partnership here. Our home is a hub of activity, and our goal is simple: to keep daily operations running smoothly.

We have a great sense of humor and value flexibility as well as proactive communication, and a capable, steady presence. In our household, family logistics and administrative support naturally overlap, so we’re looking for someone who feels confident and nimble moving between both worlds. You are adaptable and comfortable walking into a dynamic home, assessing what is needed, creating priorities, and getting to work. You take genuine pride in running a household well and naturally notice what needs attention before anyone has to ask.

Healthy cooking and meal planning come naturally to you and are an important area of support for our family. You know how to align with family preferences, create a meal plan, and keep the kitchen stocked so a busy family does not have to think about what is for dinner.

Pleasant, grounded, and easy to be around, you bring a positive mindset and know how to read the room. You communicate clearly and efficiently, respect boundaries, and are comfortable working independently. When plans shift — because in this house, they sometimes do — you adapt and keep things moving.

You are comfortable seamlessly integrating into family life, including potential travel, while maintaining a respectful, professional balance. Key Responsibilities:

Family Support & Child Assistance

• Pick ups and Drop-offs & support kids weekly extracurricular activities
• Light supervision and mentorship
• Support with prepping any school related needs: backpacks, snacks, etc.

Household Management & Organization

• Create and/or Maintain household organization systems
• Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
• Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
• Seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
• Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
• Packing/unpacking for travel for the family

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

• Occasional deep cleans (fridge)
• Support a recent move and on-going organizational projects

Inventory & Errands

• Restock pantry/fridge/household supplies
• Manage running household supply lists
• Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
• Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
• Mail and package handling and sorting
• Breakdown boxes

Meal Planning & Prep

• Ability to align with family weekly dinner preferences and meal plan and prep
• Prep healthy meals and snacks for kids
• Grocery shopping & restocking fridge and pantry
• Kitchen clean-up and maintenance

Laundry & Linen Care

• Wash/fold/organize laundry
• Ironing/steaming and special garment care when needed
• Linen rotation - weekly
• Maintain laundry area tidy and well stocked

Vehicle Management

• Schedule maintenance
• Fueling/cleaning/organizing vehicles
• Track registration/insurance

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

• Calendar management (including household schedules)
• Event and appointment coordination for family and family business
• Ability to support Family Admin tasks and projects weekly
