Project Superintendent - Greenville Area

We are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical projects from planning through completion. This hybrid role combines office-based project coordination with hands-on field leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned HVAC professional who excels at planning, material procurement, crew leadership, and quality control while working closely with Project Managers, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects before mobilization by reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and manpower requirements.
• Order materials, manage deliveries, and coordinate procurement to keep projects on schedule.
• Lead and work alongside field crews on commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical installations.
• Assign daily work, monitor productivity, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards through daily jobsite leadership.
• Maintain quality control from installation through final inspection and punch list completion.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, vendors, general contractors, and customers throughout each project.
• Support project documentation, RFIs, closeout packages, and project reporting.

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical installation experience
• Experience leading field crews or serving as a Foreman or Superintendent
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment submittals
• Experience with material procurement and project coordination
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA safety knowledge
• Valid driver's license

Preferred

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience with construction management or project management software
• Previous Mechanical or HVAC Superintendent experience
