Travel Pay : $23.48/ hour Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $23.48, Stipend (Lodging $896.00 + M&I $518.00) = $1,414.00, Total Comp :$2,259.28 Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay. Shift Details: 13 week assignment 3 12's Specialty: ASCU/PACU RN Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Duties & Responsibilities: Provides general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient. May make beds, bathe, and feed patients. May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients. Additional RN duties given by Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse Able to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of NM A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association) Graduate from an accredited school or college of nursing required. Current New Mexico license as a Registered Nurse required. BCLS, ACLS and PALS required. Minimum of one year of comparable experience is required. Critical Care experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
