Location: Torrance
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 (depending on skills and experience)
Work Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Commute: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days a week. Temporarily 4 days a week during probational period)

Bookkeeping & Daily Accounting Operations
- Perform data entry, AR/AP processing (invoicing, payments, collections)
- Handle expense reimbursements, check runs, and journal entries
- Support monthly and year-end closing (journal entries, bank reconciliations, subledgers)
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement) and client-specific reports
- Assist in preparing reporting packages for headquarters
- Assist clients with audit requests from external auditors
- Manage multiple client engagements and maintain communication
- Prepare and process miscellaneous tax filings (sales & use tax, property tax, informational returns)
- Support individual and corporate tax return preparation
- Perform financial statement reviews and compilations
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, attestation, or tax (corporate/individual)
- Public accounting experience (CPA firm or outsourcing firm) is a strong plus
- Accounting degree preferred
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a strong plus
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage, or ERP systems preferred
- Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
