Business Operations Lead New York, NY (Remote) As 3Box Labs’ Business Operations Lead, you will drive key functions and help scale the team that is reinventing how data online is produced and managed. You will own our Operations and Finances, spearhead critical new initiatives, help us to execute a pioneering network launch, and leave a lasting mark on how decentralized ecosystems plan, coordinate, and deliver. Success looks like... You drive our operations efficiently and strategically. You are the backbone of an operations function that builds, supports and runs a world‑class team. You own the strategic finance function that keeps our outlook robust and decision making throughout the org effective. You help to build the company culture through managing key rituals such as our team retreat, town halls, and offsites. You’re a trusted partner. You work with leadership to tune our goal setting, strategic decision making, metrics, cultural norms, and processes. You pick (or learn) the right tool from your Biz Ops skillset to partner with leadership, investors, growth, product, and engineering teams to supercharge their focus, effectiveness, and impact. You drive impact consistently across a wide variety of challenges drawing on your particular skills, interests, and scrappiness. Where there is opportunity, you identify & seize it, driving impact and not letting functional lines hold you back. From helping to manage a fundraise to supporting a novel network launch, you’re a consistent driving force behind our evolution. You’re relentlessly resourceful. For every wall in your way, you’ve found a way to go over it, under it or became friends with it. Whether its using AI tools to streamline our business processes or spearheading novel initiatives, you always find a way to get the job done on time and at a high quality bar. You're likely a good fit if you have… 5+ years of experience with an excellent track record of creating impact across operations, finance, consulting, or other analytical roles. You are structured, analytical, and rigorous. Your work is constantly extremely high quality and inspires complete trust. You are quantitative and familiar with operational finance & accounting topics in order to manage that function effectively. You are unafraid to tackle complex topics like compensation, unit‑economics, data privacy regulations, community culture building, and the many issues that will arise from pioneering a decentralized data ecosystem. When given opportunities, you drive impact. You are comfortable with ambiguity and are quick to tackle a new challenge or area. You make hard things simple, finding the core problem or solution and focusing on that. You get things done, move fast and empower others to move fast too. You care deeply about Web3 and our mission; Bonus points for technical, data, or product skills as you will be collaborating in a highly technical team. Salary range: $155k - $190k depending on seniority and location. We understand everyone's risk preferences and life situation is different so we can offer flexibility here.
