Registered Nurse - Peritoneal Dialysis

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis in a specialized renal medicine unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Administer peritoneal dialysis treatments as per established protocols Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical conditions Provide education and support to patients and their families Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Utilize EMR (Cerner) for accurate patient documentation and communication

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN licensure in North Carolina BLS certification Experience in peritoneal dialysis preferred Certification as a peritoneal dialysis nurse is a plus Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
