RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Must have peritoneal dialysis experience - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Work on an 18-bed renal medicine unit located on the 4th floor
• Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 for RNs
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 HUC, and 1 CNA
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, and 1 HUC/CNA
• Work with specialized equipment including cyclers for peritoneal dialysis, mobilization equipment, lift equipment, and scales
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Primary procedures include peritoneal dialysis
• Required certifications: BLS, RN licensure, PCT certificate
• Preferred qualifications include BSN, certified peritoneal dialysis nurse, and Cerner experience
• Must be flexible, comfortable with change, compassionate, and timely
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs for RNs
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• May float to like units or serve as a sitter when needed
