Sunland Asphalt, LLC. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Rep to join our booming business. Sunland is a leading asphalt solutions provider and general contractor known for delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and innovation to its customers. With a reputation built on decades of combined industry expertise, we specialize in a full range of services-including commercial and residential paving, maintenance and repair, sealcoating, milling, and large‑scale infrastructure projects.

The Outside Sales Rep   will drive revenue growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the construction industry. This role focuses on generating new business, managing a portfolio of key accounts, and promoting the company's full range of construction services and solutions. This position will identify opportunities through networking, jobsite visits, prospecting, and market intelligence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities. This includes generating leads through cold calls, referrals, and trade associations.
• Develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and industry partners.
• Identifies and recommends appropriate products/services the customer needs. Prepares and delivers accurate quotes, proposals, and product recommendations.
• Communicates customer needs, project details, and timelines clearly to the production and operations teams. This includes assisting with job set up, planning and execution, as well as attending pre-construction meetings with customers and production management.
• Monitors project progress to ensure customer expectations are met and any issues are promptly resolved. Conducts post-project follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Approves project invoices promptly and collects receivables, when needed, for completed jobs in accordance with company policies and practices.
• Maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, proposals, and project details in CRM systems.
• Represents the company at trade shows, industry events, and other networking opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or a related field; experience in construction or pavement maintenance industries is a plus.
• Must possess strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess business acumen, critical thinking, and resiliency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

SAFETY

• This is considered a non-safety-sensitive position but is subject to the company's drug and alcohol policy, as well as all OSHA regulations.
• All employees must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• This role is expected to comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as the company's safety policies, enforce safe work practices, and proactively identify and remedy worksite hazards.
