LTAC/Telemetry Registered NurseThe LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by applying the Nursing Process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and established hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and strong leadership skills to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care while utilizing the Nursing Process.Demonstrate critical thinking and anticipate patient care needs.Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.Delegate patient care tasks based on the skills and experience of available staff.Offer direction and supervision to team members involved in patient care.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.Current ACLS & BLS certifications (must be obtained through the American Heart Association).Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care.Knowledge of central line management and wound care is preferred.Active nursing license in NC or a multi-state compact RN license.Work ScheduleThis position offers flexible shifts, which may include Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, followed by Wednesday and Thursday the next week. Additionally, candidates may be required to be on-call one weekend per month.
