Staff Pharmacist
Immediate need for a talented Staff Pharmacist. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Newburyport, MA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.
Job ID:26-32823 Pay Range: $64.8/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and compound physicians' prescriptions and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.
- Consult with customers regarding medication use and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients and resolve complex issues related to their medications.
- Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct drug utilization reviews.
- Communicate effectively with patients and prescribers, fielding inquiries and addressing concerns.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- RPh license required.
- Attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to pharmacy operations.
