Customer Service Specialist

CHC Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a passionate Health Care Customer Service Specialist to join our team in the Pittsburgh, PA (Robinson Township) office.

CHC Solutions, Inc. provides medical supplies to patients with a focus on outstanding customer service. We are headquartered near Pittsburgh, PA and have multiple locations throughout the Eastern United States.

We receive an order from doctors and their staff, verify the products are covered by the patient's insurance, the supplies are shipped to them, and we bill their insurance.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Receive orders by phone or electronically and gather required information for processing.
• Enter patient demographics and orders into the billing system, ensuring all details are accurate for shipment and billing.
• Verify insurance eligibility using company systems or other methods and document the details in the patient's account.
• Ensure clinical documentation, including physician records, supports the medical need for the product.
• Keep patients and referrals informed about order timelines, delays and financial obligations.
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Document all communication with patients/families, doctors' offices or insurance companies in the patient's account using the standard note format.
• Follow all CHC Solutions policies, procedures and protocols.
• Comply with all government regulations and professional standards for patient care.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude with customers at all times.
• Provide product education upon patient request.
• Engage in continuous education to stay current on the products dispensed by the company.
• Report incidents or complaints to your supervisor and complete the required documentation.

When you apply for this position, you will meet the following qualifications:

• Possess customer service experience in the health care industry (preferred)
• Strong proficiency with computer systems and software applications
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
• Demonstrated expertise in time management, organization, multitasking, prioritization and follow-through in dynamic environments
• Comfortable and effective working in fast-paced settings
• Capable of working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
