This is a Product / UX Research & Design role Required on-site at Jupiter West office, M-F, 8a-5p

Job Description:

Experienced and dynamic Mid-Senior Product / UX Designer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both research and design (UX/UI) of digital products such as software or enterprise software. This role requires a proactive individual with the versatility to lead and collaborate in various aspects of the definition and design process.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Conduct user research to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors.
\n
• Create process diagrams for alignment discussions and user journey flows
\n
• Design intuitive and user-centric digital interfaces for exceptional user experiences.
\n
• Collaborate closely with UX Lead and data science teams to create UI designs for AI engagements.
\n
• Lead design conversations and workshops, providing innovative solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.
\n
• Capture requirements while challenging the status quo to ensure the most viable and creative solutions are considered.
\n
• Maintain a strong alignment with Scaled Agile work methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery using JIRA.
\n
• Utilize Figma for design and Claude Code for prototyping of visual design assets.
\n
• Execute user-centric and metric-centric research and design activities:
\n
• Conduct discovery through stakeholder interviews (e.g., product owner, subject matter experts, end users) and review previous research and documentation for existing personas.
\n
• Define process maps, task/user flows, and other appropriate definition artifacts.
\n
• Conduct user feedback sessions with design concepts/mockups (low-fi wireframes).
\n
• Conduct usability tests/ user feedback sessions with hi-fi visual mock-ups/designs through digital prototypes.
\n
• Deliver production-intended UI code using platform design system guidelines through Claude Code.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design and research of digital products, including software or enterprise software.
\n
• Proven experience in working with data science teams to design user interfaces for AI-centric products.
\n
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Scaled Agile work methodologies, JIRA.
\n
• Proficiency with Figma for design and LLM prompting for prototyping.
\n
• Experience with facilitating and engaging in end-user feedback session and design testing.
\n
• Strong skills in documenting and communicating research findings.
\n
• Ability to deliver AI-assisted UI design / code in compliance with ADA level AA and HFI best practices.
\n
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to confidently lead design conversations and workshops.
\n
• A self-starter with curiosity and a drive to innovate, not afraid to voice ideas and challenge existing assumptions.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to foster a user-centered design approach.
\n
