Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Step-Down RN requiring 2+ years ICU experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift travel assignment.

Job Details

• Work in a 4-bed Critical Care Step-Down unit,
• Patient population includes mostly adults and teens,
• Patient ratio of 1:4,
• Uses Epic EMR,
• 3x12 day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM,
• Every other weekend and holiday required,
• No on-call requirements,
• May float to a 24-bed Med Surg unit with a 6:1 ratio,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only),
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start,
• 2+ years of ICU RN experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Critical Care/Step Down/Progressive experience preferred,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US SSN required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a surge ICU/step-down population,
• Navy blue scrubs required,
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible
