Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical/Tele Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med Surg Tele unit, utilizing clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities:

Administer direct nursing care to patients across all age and developmental stages in the assigned unit.
Manage patient care plans, ensuring they are individualized and updated regularly.
Supervise and coordinate activities of ancillary staff to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological and psychological needs.
Demonstrate leadership by fulfilling charge nurse responsibilities and supporting team collaboration.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, state regulations, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience.
Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CA certifications, all in hand at the time of submission.
Demonstrate proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
Exhibit strong charting skills and knowledge of charting requirements.
Be able to pass background checks and provide 7-year work history verification.
