Sales & Marketing Internship

Role Summary We are seeking a motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to support the business development team in building and running the firm's prospecting engine. This role is hands-on and execution focused: you will help identify prospects, execute email and phone outreach, keep the CRM clean, and support the campaigns that put Stevens Foster in front of executives and high net worth families. It is an ideal role for a student or early career professional who wants exposure to how a modern wealth management firm generates growth — from list building and messaging through pipeline tracking and conversion. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Outreach Support Assist the sales team with outbound prospecting via email and phone to targeted executives, professionals, and referral contacts. Qualify prospects based on established criteria such as financial complexity, planning needs, and fit with the firm’s service model. Schedule discovery meetings and coordinate smooth handoffs to advisors or firm leadership. Help build and maintain prospect lists aligned to the firm's ideal client profile. Conduct light research on prospects and target companies to inform relevant, timely outreach. Track outreach activity, responses, and follow ups, and schedule qualified conversations for the business development team. CRM & Pipeline Support Maintain accurate records in Redtail CRM, including contacts, activities, notes, and pipeline stages. Support data hygiene: deduplicate records, update contact information, and log outreach consistently. Help produce simple activity and pipeline reports for the sales team. Marketing Support Support content and campaign logistics: scheduling, formatting, and coordinating compliance review before anything goes out. Participate in internal meetings to provide insights from prospect interactions and inform outreach strategy. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, finance, communications, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting professional emails and making outbound calls. Highly organized, detail oriented, and reliable with follow through. Comfortable with Microsoft Office; familiarity with a CRM (Redtail a plus, not required) and email marketing tools is a bonus. Genuine interest in wealth management, financial services, or sales and marketing. Professional, coachable, and discreet with confidential client information.
