Job Title: Production Helper
Job Description
The Production Helper supports efficient manufacturing operations by safely handling raw materials, operating production equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. This is a physically demanding role in a heavy industrial environment that requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and reliable work history.
Responsibilities

• Safely open, empty, and handle raw material bags for production processes.
• Receive batching materials and related documentation at the start of each job run.
• Lift and feed the work station with raw materials approximately 10-20% of the time, including handling loads up to 50-60 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Feed materials into machines and monitor machine operation throughout production runs.
• Run production machines, adjusting to both short and long job cycles as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation in between job runs and at the end of shifts.
• Verify materials and quantities against production schedules to ensure accurate material usage.

Essential Skills

• Ability to regularly lift 50-60 lbs and occasionally handle up to 100 lbs with assistance in a physically demanding role.
• Manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• 1-2 years of consistent work history in production, machine operation, or general labor roles.
• Experience operating production machinery and supporting general production processes.
• Ability to accurately complete quality documentation and production forms.
• Strong attention to detail for inspection, packaging, and overall product quality.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
