• Carilion Childrens Hospital, located within Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, serves as the tertiary referral center for 185,000 children in southwest Virginia
• Carilion Childrens Hospital provides a full range of pediatric services including Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, an 8-bed PICU, a 27-bed inpatient unit, a 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursing unit, and a 27 bed Pediatric Emergency Department
• Otolaryngology section provides comprehensive coverage to over one million people in a large, rural, multi-state area and several other Carilion hospitals and operates clinics in satellite locations in the region

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care for adults and children
• Perform the full breadth of procedures of all levels of complexity
• Actively involved in the education of medical students, residents from multiple CC-VTC and outside training programs, allied health and VT undergraduate/graduate students

Compensation

• Min Starting Salary: $468,438
• Max Starting Salary: $521,346
• Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certification/Eligible in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
• Fellowship Training in Pediatric Otolaryngology
• Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in teaching and/or research
• Academic appointment at VTCSOM
