Electrical Engineer - Building Systems

Electrical Engineer – Building Systems | Denver, CO

$90,000–$110,000 | Autonomy | Project Ownership

Ramirez, Johnson, and Associates (RJA) is a growing MEP engineering firm in Denver’s RiNo District. We’re hiring an Electrical Engineer who wants real responsibility, visibility, and room to grow — not just another production role.

If you enjoy solving problems, working directly with architects and clients, and seeing your designs built, you’ll feel at home here.

What you’ll work on:

• Electrical design for commercial and specialty buildings
• Restaurants, breweries, airports, affordable housing, industrial and municipal facilities
• Direct collaboration with architects, owners, and engineers
• Project-level decision making and system design
• Project management

Why this role stands out:

• Real project ownership (not siloed production work)
• Direct access to firm leadership
• Clear path toward senior engineer roles
• Flexible schedule and supportive team culture
• Small-firm autonomy with meaningful project scale

What we’re looking for:

• 2–8 years of MEP or building systems experience
• Electrical Engineering degree
• Strong communication and curiosity
• $90,000–$110,000 depending on experience
• 401(k) with match
• HSA, PTO, parental leave

If you’re looking for a place where you can do excellent work, grow professionally, and actually enjoy the people you work with, we’d love to talk.

Apply to join RJA and help shape what we’re building.
