Director, Area Market Access Strategy & Marketing

AbbVie seeks a Director of Area Market Access Strategy & Marketing to lead regional market access initiatives and oversee marketing teams. The role involves developing tailored strategies for diverse payer customers, managing direct reports, and collaborating across functions to drive account performance and access objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own regional market access marketing strategy development and resource allocation to meet Area performance goals
- Provide coaching, performance management, and strategic direction to Area Associate Marketing team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored strategies addressing regional payer landscapes and market trends
- Serve as regional expert on customer types, payer dynamics, and market trends to inform actionable strategies
- Oversee analytics partnerships to drive data-informed decisions and optimize account management tools and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
- 5+ years developing and executing pharmaceutical or biotech marketing strategies
- 7+ years marketing management experience, preferably supporting C-suite accounts
- 3+ years account management experience
- 3+ years market access experience
- 12+ total years healthcare industry experience
- Proven team leadership in complex, matrixed environments
