Senior Business AnalystDirect Client: New York City Department of Social ServicesLocation: Brooklyn, NY 11238Duration: 36 MonthsPosition Type: ContractHours Per Week: 35 HrInterview Mode: WebcamProject Name: Eligibility Data and Image Transfer Systems (EDITS)Tasks & Duties:Develop system design specifications and documentationDevelops and prepares documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches.Develops workflow and business flow charts documents using MS Visio, MS Projects and MS office products.Develops Functional Requirements for program area’s Case processing and Case Management related Systems.Develops detailed systems operations designsDevelops appropriate Test plan for various integration testing and unit testing.Production Implementation process and postproduction supportWork as a liaison between users and programmersWorks with system and support staff (e.g managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program application implementation, enhancements and changesAttends and represents the team for various meetingsWrites detailed summaries of meetings and issues.Deals with multiple City AgenciesProvides assistance to System and Support technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselvesProvides general programming assistance to other System and Support programmers/projects as may be neededRequired/ Desired Skills:A minimum of 4 years of experience in Designing workflow systemsA minimum of 4 years of experience in Developing functional specifications, knowledge of structured design tools, working knowledge of PROJECTA minimum of 4 years of experience in MS-Office Suite – MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook, VisioA minimum of 4 years of experience in Writing Functional report specificationsA minimum of 4 years of experience in Working with government human service agenciesA minimum of 4 years of experience in Jira V Group
