Director of Supply Chain (Hybrid) - Lorton, VA | $200K-$210K

We are seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, logistics, supplier management, and inventory operations supporting U.S. Government contracts. This hybrid role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance, DCMA standards, and government contracting environments .

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with program delivery and government requirements
Lead procurement and subcontracting activities , including sourcing, negotiation, and award management
Ensure CPSR readiness and support DCMA/DCAA audits
Oversee supplier performance, risk mitigation, and subcontractor relationships
Define and track KPIs (on-time delivery, cost savings, quality, small business utilization)
Partner with Program Management, Contracts, and Operations to drive mission success
Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team , including training on compliance and best practices
Maintain strict adherence to FAR/DFARS regulations and audit requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
10-15+ years of supply chain/procurement experience , including 5+ years in leadership
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, CPSR, and government contracting compliance
Experience with ERP/SCM systems (SAP, Deltek Costpoint, Oracle)
Proven success in supplier negotiations, cost control, and process improvement
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Active security clearance preferred
