About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift - 40 hours, Monday to Thursday, 9 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRI Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Confident clinical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment, good communication skills, attitude of helpfulness and teamwork Description: MRI Technologist position available. Facility is a teaching hospital with advanced bereavement capabilities. Facility is classified as a Level I Trauma Center. Average patients per day range from 40 to 45. The technologist will work with adults and pediatrics across various patient care areas, including ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient services. Candidates must be adept in a wide range of radiology exams and diagnoses. State Licensure is not required. Team dynamics include a lead tech, modality supervisor, and imaging manager. All staff members possess various levels of experience from recent graduates to seasoned professionals. Department is equipped with Siemens 1.5T magnets and utilizes EMR: EPIC. Travelers will have consistent shifts per the contract, without rotations between weekends and weekdays. Call responsibilities are shared equitably among all staff. Travelers are expected to provide holiday coverage unless prior approval is obtained. Dress code for technologists is black scrubs.
