Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that champions best practices and exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, state nursing regulations, and evidence-based protocols.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
- Apply specialized nursing knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care, making informed assignments based on acuity and technical needs.
- Engage in continuous learning and apply new skills to enhance workplace practices and patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, fostering respectful and collaborative relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, privacy standards, and noise control measures.
- Participate actively in professional development, leadership opportunities, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years in acute care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is welcomed.
- Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.
This position offers part-time day shift hours within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest, focusing on childbirth, special care nursery, and postpartum units. The role supports a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement to ensure outstanding patient experiences.
