About the Role:

Hyatt Place St. Paul is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to lead our guest services team in the heart of Saint Paul, MN. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support front desk agents to ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out experiences
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a service-first mindset
• Train, coach, and motivate front desk staff to uphold Hyatt brand standards
• Manage room assignments, reservations, and inventory using property management systems (PMS)
• Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-shift reporting
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, responding to any on-property issues or emergencies

Requirements:

• 1+ years of front desk or guest services experience in a hotel environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS); Opera or similar preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree a plus
