As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, optimizing processes, and driving data-driven decision-making. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end business analysis for high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement solutions that enhance business operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics, performance metrics, and market trends Independently gather, analyze, and document highly complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements for complex projects while ensuring traceability and alignment with business objectives Design Epics, Features, and User Stories in a backlog to ensure clear and actionable requirements for development teams Manage business analysis efforts across projects, ensuring timely and quality deliverables Serve as a key liaison between business units, IT, and external partners to facilitate collaboration Develop and present business cases, impact assessments, and solution roadmaps to leadership Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions to align project objectives Ensure change management strategies are in place to support adoption of new processes or technologies Guide and mentor Business Analysts at various levels (I, II, III) to develop analytical and leadership skills Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance Oversee workload distribution and project assignments to optimize efficiency and effectiveness May conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for career growth Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team What You'll Bring Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms Advanced proficiency in business analysis tools including JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Lucidchart Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies Experience with process modeling, workflow automation, and requirement documentation Familiarity with machine learning, AI, or predictive analytics in business applications is a plus Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience managing or guiding teams Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences Strategic problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build strong relationships 7+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related field Experience leading cross-functional teams or supervising business analysts Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, SAFe, or CSM preferred Experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CST Ability to travel occasionally as needed Why join NLS?
